Your Lordship's approval, appointed Mr Hung Kam Ming to the post of 5th Clerk in the Harbour Department, which has become vacant through the resignation of Mr J. Sampson.
Mr. Hung Kam Ming has been in the Government service since 1881, having been appointed, after a competitive examination, to the office of Clerk to the Government Marine Surveyor, in which position he has earned the good opinion of his superior officers.
I forward the usual paper of particulars for the vacant appointment.
